Against her time, against her gender.

The story of an extraordinary woman, living her life during a time when women had not much of a voice.

For a woman living in the 17th century, life had so many limitations. At birth, her father’s decision to raise the protagonist as a man shapes a different course in this woman’s life. As a man, she enjoys the advantages of a good education and freedom. However, this also brings unexpected adventures, intrigues and sometimes, confusion. Over the years, she travels far and wide, in a continuous journey of discovery. By choice or twist of fate, she uses different identities. She experiences love, hate, friendship and betrayal. Ultimately, all she wants is to establish her own identity, claim her name, inheritance, a place to fit in and a way of life she can be happy with.
